New AATCC Foundation Scholarships Available

AATCC Announces Two New Scholarships

National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO) Paul T. O’Day Scholarship is a scholarship for the children of any active employee of an NCTO member company. This $5,000 scholarship can be awarded per academic year up to four years, for a cumulative scholarship of $20,000.  Applicants may pursue any area of study supportive of the American fiber industry. AATCC Foundation Percy W. Woodruff Jr. Textile Manufacturing Scholarship is a $2,500 scholarship designed to support a non-traditional, undergraduate college student attending Clemson University and enrolled in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE).  

Scholarship Available for Midwest, Northwest and Pacific Section Schools

The Western Region Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarship is for rising juniors or seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree in a textile or fashion-related field of study at a public college or university in the Midwest, Northwest and Pacific Sections, where an active AATCC student chapter exists.

Scholarship for Indian Students

The Kanti and Hansa Jasani Family Textile Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarship available to Indian students, specifically Indian citizens with a student visa or with permanent residency, who are attending a US university. The student should be pursuing a career in a field involving textile engineering, textile technology, textile design, textile chemistry, textile science, or a related discipline.
