AATCC Proficiency Testing Programs cover Antimicrobial, Appearance, Colorfastness, Fiber Analysis, Visual Color Evaluation, and Water Resistance methods. Labs may register for any or all programs.

For each program:

  • Register at least one month before sample ship date (see Schedule).
  • AATCC sends samples, instructions, and data sheets  to participating labs twice a year.
  • Labs submit test results online. (Labs may choose not to submit results for all methods in the program, but fee is not pro-rated.)
  • AATCC compiles results and distributes report to participating labs with a code to identify their data.
  • AATCC issues digital Certificates of Participation at the end of the calendar year.
