2026 International Conference on Textile Standards and Technological Innovation & the 19th Symposium and Graduate Forum on Advanced Textile and Apparel Technology
DURHAM, NC, September 29, 2026—Hosted by the China Textile Engineering Society (CTES), American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), and Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES), and co-organized by the Shanghai Textile Chemistry Clean Production Engineering Research Center, Shanghai Clothing Creative Design and Digital Technology Public Service Platform, Shanghai Textile Research Institute Co. Ltd., and Shanghai Textile Engineering Society, this conference on November 17-19, at the Shanghai University of Engineering Science (Songjiang Campus), Shanghai, China, will focus on key technological innovations and the development of standard systems across the textile industry chain.
Under the theme “Standards-driven, Technology-enabled, Green Smart Manufacturing,” the conference will feature a series of sub-forums. These sessions will cover key topics, including:
- Advanced Materials: Smart textile materials, fiber membrane innovation, and inorganic fiber composite materials.
- Green Manufacturing: Low-water or waterless dyeing, and waste textile recycling.
- Smart Tech & AI: AI industrial applications, fashion technology, and intelligent equipment testing.
- Global Frameworks: International standard development.
Serving as a premier hub for scholarly exchange and industry-academia collaboration, the conference will focus on international textile standards and emerging technologies. The event will bring together global experts, academics, industry leaders, and rising scholars from trade associations, universities, research institutes, and top corporations.
