This Digital Lab, Dyestuff Chemistry Fundamentals, presented by Bryan Dill, Archroma US Inc., was recorded on March 30, 2022. The digital lab is a primer in basic dyestuff chemistry and application for the beginner to intermediate level. The presentation starts with an overview of how we see color and proceeds to an overview of key dye classes. Dye classes and their reaction mechanisms will be shown for natural and synthetic substrates. Optical Brightening Agents will also be covered.
Bryan Dill, Archroma US Inc
Bryan Dill has been with Archroma and its predecessor companies (Sandoz, Clariant) for 30 years, now serving as North American President and Head of Sales. He attended North Carolina State University, obtaining a BS in Textile Chemistry in 1993 and an MBA in Finance from Queens University in Charlotte in 2003. Bryan has been an AATCC member since 1992, serving as committee chair, ECR member, and Education Advisory Board member.
