With nearly 20 years of experience in merchandising and retail transformation, Anna has held leadership roles across Victoria’s Secret PINK, Walgreens, and Adidas.

At PINK, she helped develop a 9-day speed-to-market model for the iconic fold over yoga pant business, giving her firsthand experience building high-velocity operating models and leading cross-functional teams through rapid decision-making and execution.

She is particularly passionate about helping organizations not only solve complex business problems, but also educate and develop teams while doing so.

Presentation Abstract

Where Did Speed Go?

Despite having more data, better technology, AI, and real-time customer insights than ever before, many retail organizations are not moving faster. In some cases, they are moving slower.

Drawing from nearly two decades in merchandising and retail transformation, including firsthand experience building a 9-day speed-to-market model at Victoria’s Secret PINK, Anna will explore why speed has become increasingly difficult to achieve. The session will examine the organizational and behavioral barriers that slow decision-making, including education gaps, loss of proximity to manufacturing, declining cross-functional trust, increased approvals, and shifting priorities.

Participants will leave with practical insights on how to rethink speed, strengthen cross-functional partnerships, and build operating models that enable organizations to respond more effectively to today’s customer demands.
