Eligibility
Any individual member of AATCC may submit a nomination, including self-nomination. Selection is by unanimous choice of the Education Award Committee. In years when no suitable nomination is received, the award will not be presented.
Nominees must have the following qualifications to be considered for this award:
- Individual member of AATCC
- Extensive contribution to educational activities of the Association, usually over several years
Education Award
The award is presented at AATCC’s Textile Discovery Summit, but may not be given every year. It includes:
- Plaque
- US$500 honorarium
- Free Textile Discovery Summit registration for award recipient and guest (for the year in which the award is presented)
- Invitation to VIP cocktail reception at Summit, including professional photos with AATCC President
- Press release, social media posts, magazine article, etc. announcing award recipient, including photo and bio
