The AATCC Journal of Research is a scholarly, peer reviewed, online scientific journal of textiles and materials research. This includes original articles and review articles relating to the chemical and biochemical sciences; the fundamentals, applications, and management of materials; engineering; and the design and merchandising of fibrous materials of interest to the global textile community. The journal’s aim is to advance and disseminate knowledge in all areas pertinent to textile research including dyeing and coloration, quality testing, color communication, polymers, fibers, fabrics and their design, nanotechnology, processing and merchandising, sustainability, and waste treatment.

  • Posting on AATCC social media outlets and the AATCC Blog is permitted by AATCC exclusively for promoting discussions and activities consistent with AATCC’s mission of education, research, and networking. Any other use is not permitted.

    • Posting on the AATCC Blog and social media outlets by members is encouraged. However, initial posting by member volunteer content creators requires approval from the AATCC communications director, the executive vice president, or their designee.

    • Content posted must not be of a commercial nature or considered objectionable. AATCC staff will determine if this content is considered “commercial” or “objectionable”.

    • The copyright for content posted on the AATCC Blog or AATCC social media outlets either must be owned by the poster, or the poster is a representative of the owner of the copyright and is posting with permission. Please provide a note explicitly granting permission to use copyrighted materials if you do not own the copyright. This includes images as well as text content, unless that content is considered “open source” or “public domain” content which may be used without explicit copyright permission.
