SCHOLARSHIPS

The following scholarship applications are due in FEBRUARY:

Charles E. Gavin III Family Scholarship  DONATE

Rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors attending Georgia Institute of Technology (DUE FEBRUARY 15) or Auburn University (DUE FEBRUARY 1are eligible for the Gavin Family Scholarship. (NOTE DIFFERENT DUE DATES.)

Charles H. Stone Scholarship  DONATE

Four $6,000 scholarships are available to juniors and seniors at North Carolina State University and Clemson University. (Due FEBRUARY 15.)   More info

Varley Family Textile Technology Scholarship  DONATE

AATCC Foundation’s Varley Family Textile Technology Scholarship is a $7,500 per year scholarship that supports students pursuing a career or performing coursework in textile engineering, textile chemistry, textile science or a related discipline at either the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) or Cornell University College of Human Ecology. (Due FEBRUARY 15)    More info

Corporate Member Scholarship  DONATE

The Corporate Member Scholarship is a $3,000 scholarship available to children of AATCC corporate member employees.   More info

Darsey Family Scholarship  DONATE

The Darsey Family Scholarship is a $1,500 scholarship available to students enrolled in a textile-related and/or fashion design related program at a US university with an AATCC student chapter. More Info

Gordon & Marjorie Osborne Scholarship  DONATE

The AATCC Foundation’s Gordon and Marjorie Osborne Scholarship is a $5,000 per year scholarship that supports students pursuing a career or performing coursework in textile engineering, textile chemistry, textile science or a related discipline.  More Info

Kanti & Hansa Jasani Family Scholarship  DONATE

The Kanti and Hansa Jasani Family Textile Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarship available to Indian students, specifically Indian citizens with a student visa or with permanent residency, who are attending a US university with an AATCC student chapter. The student should be pursuing a career in a field involving textile engineering, textile technology, textile chemistry, textile science, or a related discipline. This scholarship may be divided among multiple recipients; minimum scholarship awards will be $1,000.   More info

Martin J. Bide University of Rhode Island Scholarship  DONATE

The Martin J. Bide University of Rhode Island Scholarship is a $2,500 scholarship for undergraduate students studying Textile Fashion, Merchandising and Design at the University of Rhode Island.      More Info

Metro Scholarship  DONATE

A $3,000 annual scholarship offered to sophomores and juniors in the New England, New York and New Jersey areas attending universities with AATCC student chapters are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship may be divided among multiple recipients; minimum scholarship awards will be $1,000.  More info

The Nonwovens Institute Student Scholarship Program

This $2,500 scholarship is for juniors and seniors majoring in fiber and polymer science, textiles, material science, chemical engineering, or related disciplines. The purpose of this scholarship is to support undergraduate students interested in pursuing graduate studies in the areas of polymers, fibers, or nonwovens.  APPLICATIONS DUE AUGUST 15  More info

AATCC Foundation Fibrous Materials Scholarship is a $3,000 scholarship intended for undergraduate students taking material science courses or programs associated with fibrous materials. AATCC Foundation Textile Design Scholarship is a $3,000 scholarship intended for undergraduate students taking textile, apparel, or home fashion design courses or programs. The scholarship is based on student’s citizenship or permanent residency, need, and academic expectancy.  More Info

The Textile Merchandising Scholarship is a $3,000 scholarship intended for undergraduate students taking textile merchandising, management, and retail related courses or programs. The scholarship is based on student’s citizenship or permanent residency, need, and academic expectancy.  More info

West Region Scholarship   DONATE

This $2,000 scholarship is for rising juniors or seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree in a textile or fashion-related field of study at a public college or university in the Midwest, Northwest and Pacific Sections, where an active AATCC student chapter exists.    More info

Connelly/Perkins Graduate Fellowship   DONATE

AATCC Foundation Connelly/Perkins Graduate Fellowship is a $5,000 fellowship offered to U.S. students pursuing their Ph.D. degrees in fibrous and polymeric materials at the Clemson University Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE).  More Info

Grady, Hauser, Houser, Daniels Graduate Fellowship   DONATE

A $5,000 fellowship awarded to a graduate student, who is a U.S. citizen pursuing a Ph.D. in Fiber and Polymer Science in the Wilson College of Textiles at North Carolina State University. Preference of master’s student who has made application and been accepted in the Ph.D. program in Fiber and Polymer Science (FPS) at NC State University.   More info

Pulcra Chemicals Graduate Fellowship   DONATE

A $5,000 fellowship offered to U.S. graduate students pursuing a Ph.D. in Fiber and Polymer Science at North Carolina State University Wilson College of Textiles or a Ph.D. degree in fibrous and polymeric materials at Clemson University Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE).  More info

GRANTS

AATCC Foundation Student Research Support Grants

Up to $4,000 per year in funding for undergraduate and graduate research in textile chemistry and on textile-related projects. Projects that involve laboratory and end-use correlation studies, wet processing research, and other topics identified by the Foundation receive special priority.    More info
