The AATCC Delaware Valley Section members had their fall meeting on Tuesday, October 8th at the Datacolor corporate office in Lawrence Township, NJ, USA. Datacolor provides color management hardware, software and support to save time and cut costs while increasing accuracy for textile industry professionals. Kate Edwards, who is an AATCC member from Datacolor, hosted the event with her colleague, Ken Butts, who gave a presentation on the innovative solutions that the company offers.
One of the AATCC members at the meeting is Jefferson East Falls Textile Professor Janet Brady. Janet is the faculty advisor for the Jefferson AATCC Student Chapter. Her association with AATCC began in 1975 while a textile student. She has continued to be a part of this not-for-profit organization that provides technical resources and assistance to industry professionals and universities. AATCC has large number of grants, scholarships, competitions, and education materials for students in the textile and fashion industry. It is a trusted source for the community to help foster industry collaboration and educational research.
