Last spring, a long-time member and tireless supporter of AATCC and AATCC Foundation put forth a challenge to endow the Foundation’s two graduate fellowships: the Grady, Hauser, Houser, Daniels Graduate Fellowship, and the Connelly-Perkins Graduate Fellowship. He proposed a match campaign that would run for one year, beginning on June 1, 2019 and ending on May 31, 2020. During this time, every dollar donated to either fellowship would be matched up to $15,000 for each fellowship.
AATCC Foundation is pleased to announce that, with your help, $6,300 raised to support these two fellowships. With our anonymous donor’s match, a total of $12,600 will go towards these fellowships! A sincere thank you is extended to our anonymous donor, whose challenge brought about significant growth to the AATCC graduate fellowship program!
AATCC Foundation fellowships provide financial assistance to graduate students pursuing masters and PhD degrees at Clemson University Department of Material Sciences and North Carolina State University Wilson College of Textiles. The research exemplified by these graduate student recipients holds great promise for the future of textiles.
AATCC Foundation 100 for 100 Campaign continues to seek donations to fully endow $100,000 per year in scholarships in time to celebrate AATCC’s 100th birthday in 2021. Endowing these scholarships ensures support for textile students far into the future. Donate online at www.aatcc.org/foundation
