New! Approved ECR Policy Regarding Listing of Equipment and Materials for AATCC Test Methods and Evaluation Procedures

AATCC has developed approximately 200 standard test methods through its research committees. These are used worldwide to test and control the quality of textile items. Many AATCC Test Methods have been accepted by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The Association also offers quality control products used in the AATCC Test Methods and related ISO methods. The AATCC Technical Center laboratories serve as a demonstration center and provide technical support for committee research and the development and maintenance of quality control materials.

The AATCC Technical Department offers many global programs, which include test methods training; textile technician certification; interlaboratoy proficiency testing (colorfastness, appearance, and water resistance/repellency); a technical listserve; student design competitions; and washer and dryer recommendations. These webpages feature AATCC technical publications, quality control materials, training programs, and research committee information representing the many contributions the Association makes to industry through the efforts of its members.
