AATCC is sponsoring a university marketing competition, which will take place during the spring semester, 2013. This is a team contest between participating schools.
Deadline for entries is January 21, 2013.
The purpose of the contest is to design a membership development/marketing program targeting a millennial demographic (students and young professionals age 31 and under).
There are several prizes, including $1,500 to be divided by the first place team, recognition in AATCC Review and the AATCC News newsletter, and the possibility of winning a paid (contract) internship at AATCC during the summer of 2013 to execute the plan.
The contest is open to teams representing university textile marketing programs (graduate and undergraduate), as well as MBA programs and university Association Management programs. The contest is structured as follows:
- Teams will be comprised of at least two students, but no more than six, who are enrolled in a class that has a marketing focus during the Spring Semester, 2013.
- Contest participation will be coordinated by the class professor/advisor.
- The contest is open to the first 25 team applications received by Jan. 21, 2013. (All entries are due by this date.)
