AATCC Announces
2009 C2C®/CITDA Design Competition Winners

The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) launched its fifth annual C2C/CITDA design competition developed by its Concept 2 Consumer® Interest Group and the Computer Integrated Textile Design Association. The theme of this year’s design competition was Color Concepts.

AATCC received 125 entries from 38 institutions around the globe. Competition winners will receive cash awards of $1,000 for First Place and $500 for Second Place in each category and complimentary student registration for the 2010 AATCC International Conference. First place winners will also receive a complimentary copy of Pantone’s Color Passport, www.pantone.com. The first place winner of the Product Design category is eligible to compete for the Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC) “International Colour and Textile Award.”
