AATCC Announces
2008 C2C®/CITDA Design Competition Finalists

AATCC launched its fourth annual C2C®/CITDA design competition developed by its Concept 2 Consumer® Interest Group and the Computer Integrated Textile Design Association.  The theme of this year’s design competition is Earth Day, Every Day.

We received 140 entries representing 25 different institutions. All of the entries were excellent and the judges had a difficult task determining the finalists.  The finalists listed below will submit story boards and final products for judging to take place on May 5, 2008.

Winners will be announced at AATCC’s C2C interest group meeting, held during the AATCC Spring Committee Meetings in May 2008 (finalists are not required to be present for the announcement). Winning entries will receive cash awards of $1,000 for First Place and $500 for Second Place in each sub-category and complimentary student registration(s) for the 2009 AATCC International Conference & Exhibition (IC&E), in Myrtle Beach, S.C., U.S.A. , in early 2009.
