EDUCATION
Whether you are a student or an experienced professional, there is always something new to learn. In the rapidly changing world of textiles, AATCC is your resource for educational programs, products, and publications!
Courses in practical processes, hands-on workshops, and symposia focusing on different segments of the textile industry are offered continually by AATCC. Now, more programs are being offered globally, and new programs targeted to the recently acquired Computer-Integrated Textile Design Association (CITDA) are being developed. AATCC members receive discounted registration fees for all of these programs, as well as a discount on publication purchases.
AATCC encourages students to participate in our Concept 2 Consumer/CITDA Design Competition, the Engineering Design Competition, and the Herman & Myrtle
Goldstein Student Paper Competition.
RESEARCH
Bigger, better, faster, cheaper! AATCC promotes and shares research that can improve the way we all do business.
AATCC encourages research by publishing Peer Reviewed papers in AATCC Review. Researchers also have opportunities to present their work at various symposia throughout
the year, and at the International Conference & Exhibition.
Members may join research committees, which are instrumental in the development of AATCC test methods.
A number of technical programs designed to assist textile laboratories are available or in development, including proficiency programs for AATCC Colorfastness, Appearance,
Water Resistance, and Fiber Identification test methods. A program for UV calibration is also available. All of these programs can assist laboratories in ensuring that their testing is in line with what other laboratories achieve.
