ASF Group
The ASF Group is a highly-focused textile company that specializes in building high-performance fabrics for the outdoor and action sports industries. The company offers fabrics that are waterproof without a coating. These fabrics are woven to an extremely high density and are resistant to water pressure of over 1,000 mm.
Headquartered in San Pedro, Calif., USA, ASF has offices in Los Angeles, Calif., USA; Osaka, Japan; and Taipei, Taiwan. ASF interfaces directly with mills, finishers, and fiber companies in the Far East.
Beva Silicones Pvt. Ltd.
The main business of Beva Silicones Pvt. Ltd. is the manufacturing of finishing agents for textile garments. The company was established with the
main goal of providing world class products. Beva develops silicone-based products for a range of applications, including softness, crease resistance, water repellency, and controlling foam generation in wet processing operations. Beva also provides products and solutions to various manufacturing industries including textile finishing, leather processing, and personal care. The company’s new research and quality control laboratory allows it to provide both standard and custom formulations to fit customer requirements.
Beva Silicones is a young company, formed in December 2008 in Chennai, India by its owner, Mr. Ariyarathenam.
China Fiber Inspection Journal
Started in July 1981, the China Fiber Inspection Journal (CFI) focuses on distributing information about the supervision and inspection of textile fibers and products. The journal reports on current textile legislation and introduces new science and technology topics including research and development of new products and test equipment. It also offers a platform for insiders to exchange ideas and share information about major events in the field of textile fibers and products, quality supervision, and inspection. Located in Beijing, China, CFI is sponsored by the China Fiber Inspection Bureau.
CHT De Mexico S.A. DE C.V.
Located in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, CHT de Mexico is a manufacturer of chemicals and allied products. The company is a division of CHT R. Beitlich GMBH in Tübingen, Germany. CHT maintains a uniform standard of environmentally-friendly and efficient processes by which the products and formulations are produced with a defined and constant quality.
Clairiant Chemicals India Ltd.
Clariant Chemicals India Ltd. manufactures dyes and chemicals for the textile industry, providing solutions from fiber to fabric through a wide range of chemicals for pre-treatment, dyeing and finishing, and dyes for various substrates and applications. The company offers various concepts and services, including a technical service center in Thane and four regional laboratories in Surat, Panipat, Tirupur, and Bangalore. Additional services are offered through Clariant Consultancy Service, Apparel and Fashion Group, Archroma Global Services, and the company’s Product Safety Lab. Anjani Prasad, head of textiles, leather, and paper chemicals, says “we have already geared up to meet the increasing customer needs with innovative finishes and environmentally-friendly and cost effective solutions.”
Clariant Chemicals India has its corporate offices in southern Mumbai, while headquarters for the textile business is located in eastern Mumbai (Thane area). Clariant’s presence in India goes back more than five decades, through its affiliates and various acquisitions. In 2006, four of the affiliates were integrated into Colour-Chem Ltd. and the company was subsequently renamed Clariant Chemicals (India) Ltd.
Suzhou Unitedtex Enterprise Ltd.
Located in Jiangsu, China, Suzhou Unitedtex Enterprise is a manufacturer of fabrics and garments. The company was established in 1994 as Unitedtex Ltd. For the first six years, it focused on silk business including developing, sourcing, and exporting quality fabric for worldwide markets under brands such as Liz Claiborne and Gap. In 2000, the company extended its business to the non-silk areas including cotton, linen, synthetic fabric, and wool.
Suzhou Unitedtex has set up a testing center to insure environmental protection and internal quality of its products, including new common, physical, chemical, and zoological laboratories.
