ATK Tactical Systems
Located in Fenton, Mo., USA, ATK Tactical Systems is a division of ATK’s Security and Sporting Group, a technology developer and supplier of ammunition for law enforcement, military, and sporting applications; a manufacturer of optics, reloading gear, and sport shooting accessories; and a producer of tactical acces¬sories. The company serves sport shooting enthusiasts, law enforce¬ment professionals, and military and tactical markets worldwide. The group’s products include some widely-known brands in the industry, including Federal Premium, CCI, Speer, RCBS, Alliant Powder, Champion, Weaver, Eagle Industries, and Blackhawk Industries. The group is a branch of ATK Co., an aerospace and defense company, with more than 18,000 employees in 24 states, Puerto Rico, and internationally.
ATS Labs
Headquartered in Eagan, Minn., USA, ATS Labs provides high quality microbiology, virology, and product chemistry testing services to developers, manufacturers, and users of antimicrobial products and antimicrobial materials in a wide range of industries.
ATS Labs began in 1989 as a part of a company called ViroMed, a regional reference laboratory performing infectious disease testing. As a result of the lab’s virology and microbiology expertise, ViroMed established a reputation for its antimicrobial testing. The antimicrobial testing services business helped develop many new test methods. In 2002, the group became an independent company known as ATS Labs, with a focus on antimicrobial testing services. In 2003 and 2008, the company expanded its facilities, and today has a 15,000 square foot facility to help meet all of its clients’ microbiology, virology, and chemistry testing needs.
Today, ATS Labs continues in its unwavering commitment to provide technical leadership, GLP compliance, and exceptional cus¬tomer service. The company has excelled as an EPA facility, and is led by its owner and president, Doug Anderson, PhD.
Mirachem Industries
Mirachem’s story began in 1975 in Mumbai, India, as a small company with a product line of detergents and stain removers. Mirachem is now a textile auxiliary company that produces and supplies specialty chemicals to improve the processing of cotton, wool, natural and synthetic fibers, yarn, towels, woven and denim fabrics. The company has adopted the latest Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) in all its manufacturing activities. Mirachem stresses the importance of the environment, and manufactures eco-friendly products.
Ozone Laundry Systems
Located in Draper, Utah, USA, Ozone Laundry Systems has been in business for 50 years. The company emphasizes environmentally-friendly technology through its new dry ozone textile systems and wet ozone textile processing. Ozone Laundry Systems states that using ozone in the laundry reduces hot water usage, disinfects wash water, shortens drying time, deodorizes fabrics, and extends the life of linen. The company services many well-known franchises, such as Marriott, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Sheraton, Hampton Inn, and Wyndham Hotel.
Precision Fabrics Group Inc.
Precision Fabrics Group is located in Greensboro, N.C., USA, and is a privately-owned company.
TAPPI
Founded in 1915, TAPPI has grown into one of the largest professional associations serving the pulp, paper, converting, and packaging industries. TAPPI was founded as the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry. The association is a non-profit organization with approximately 14,000 members around the world. Through infor¬mation exchange and networking opportunities, TAPPI provides its members with educational oppor-tunities. Located in Norcross, Ga., USA, the association also publishes Paper360º and TAPPI Journal.
WestPoint Home
As a well-known source for home textiles for more than 200 years, WestPoint Home manufactures and distributes home textiles worldwide. The company’s brands include Martex, Vellux, Utica, Grand Patrician, and Lady Pepperell. As a part of its global expansion, WestPoint Home purchased Manama Textile Mills in Asker, Bahrain, in 2007. The Bahrain facility is a fully-vertical operation with state-of the-art equipment producing a full range of bedding products
