CTI—Centre Testing International
CTI provides calibration, testing, and calibration services for its various divisions, including the textiles footwear and leather, food and drug, electrical, vehicle, and toy divisions. Headquartered in Singapore, CTI has offices in the U.S. and the U.K. With more than 20 branch offices in China, including Taiwan and Hong Kong, CTI provides one-stop testing certification services for all its textile and footwear customers. CTI tests for leather include rubbing/crocking, perspiration, and abrasion resistance; fiber composition, qualitative, and quantitative analysis for materials analysis tests; and colorfastness, fiber and yarn, and flammability tests for textile testing.
FangYuan Instrument (DG) Co. Ltd.
FangYuan Instrument (DG) Co. is a professional research, design, and manufacturing company that provides cost effective solutions for measuring applications in textile, dyeing, garment, zipper,
leather, and plastic industries. The company manufactures textile testing equipment used for AATCC, ASTM, M&S, ISO, and BS methods. Testing instruments manufactured by FangYuan include lightfastness testers, yarn examining machines, ISO and AATCC washing fastness testers, and other laboratory equipment. FangYuan manufactures equipment that meets the testing requirements of a diverse range of industries.
Headquartered in Wenzhou, China, FangYuan Instrument Co. also has offices in Shenzhen, China, and Hong Kong. The company was established in 2003 and started to penetrate the international market in 2005. Dowell Science and Technology (HK) Co. Ltd. has been a strategic partner of FangYuan since 2006 to help sell its products globally.
Gap Inc.
Gap Inc. is an international specialty retailer offering clothing, accessories, and personal products for men, women, children, and babies under the Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime, and Athleta brand names. The company’s headquarters are based in San Francisco, Calif., USA, and its product design offices are located primarily in New York City, N.Y., USA; San Francisco, Calif., USA; and London, England. The main focus at Gap is its customers, creativity, doing what’s right, and delivering results.
Don and Doris Fisher opened the first Gap store in 1969 in San Francisco, Calif., USA. Don Fisher said, “I created Gap with a simple idea: to make it easier to find a pair of jeans. We remain committed to that basic principle.” (Note: Mr. Fisher passed away in September 2009.)
Youtell Biochemical Inc.
Youtell Biochemical Inc. is a research and development service provider in the field of industrial enzyme manufacturing. Located in Bothell, Wash., USA, the company is a subsidiary of Hunan Youtell Biochemical Co. Ltd., a manufacturer of industrial enzymes for textile, animal feed, food, and bio-energy applications in Hunan, China. Established in April 2008, Youtell Biochemical has become a state-of-the-art research laboratory, specializing in cleaner, more sustainable options for textile manufacturing.
