Harold C. Chapin Award
Nomination Form (due March 1) The Chapin Award, a beautifully illustrated scroll, is presented each year to a member of AATCC who consistently furthers the Association’s mission of service and outreach in textile education, research, and communication. The Chapin Award was established in 1959. It was named for its first recipient, Harold C. Chapin, who served as secretary of AATCC for 25 years. The scroll and an honorarium are presented at AATCC’s International Conference. The 2010 Harold C. Chapin Award Committee is chaired by R. Michael Tyndall, Cotton Incorporated.
