William
R. Martin Jr. Walkway
To continue its mission to
enhance textile research, education, and scholarship, the AATCC
Foundation created an opportunity for the Association’s
members and supporters to have their names inscribed in brick pavers
and laid into the walkway leading to the Sundial Plaza at the AATCC
Technical Center. The walkway was renamed the William R. “Bill” Martin
Jr. walkway, in honor of our past AATCC Executive Director who served
from 1973 to 1996. It was dedicated on November 14, 2007.
