Nomination Form (due May 1, 2012)
Previous Recipients
Henry E. Millson was a noted inventor, head of dyes research for American Cyanamid, and the 1958 recipient of AATCC’s Olney Medal. He provided an award endowment in 1979 with the stipulation that he never be considered a candidate. After agreeing to that condition, the Association promptly named the award in his honor.
Nominees need not be AATCC members. The award has been presented posthumously and to multiple recipients who collectively invented something of importance. Originally an annual award, it is now presented every three years (beginning in 2010).
A plaque and honorarium are presented at AATCC’s International
Conference.
