Absorbency of Textiles

Developed in 1954 by AATCC Committee RA34; jurisdiction transferred to Committee RA63 in 2003

1.  Purpose and Scope

1.1  The test method is for the determination of the water absorbency of yarns, fabrics and garments.  It can be used on textiles of any fiber content or construction, including woven, knit and nonwoven.
