Fiber Analysis: Quantitative Developed
in 1957 by AATCC Committee RA24 1.
Purpose and Scope 1.1
This method presents individual procedures for the quantitative determination
of moisture content, nonfibrous content and fiber composition of textiles.
1.2 The procedures for the determination of fiber composition include mechanical,
chemical and microscopical methods. They are applicable to blends of the
following generic classes:
